Helicopter Spirals Uncontrollably into Palm Trees at Popular California Beach
An aircraft hovering over a popular coastal shoreline abruptly commenced twirling out of control, ultimately descending rapidly and crashing into a cluster of palm groves as spectators looked on.
Footage uploaded online capture the aircraft beginning to twirl above the beach then falling near the perimeter of the coast, where it ends up lodged between palm groves and a staircase near the shoreline route.
Emergency Response Information
The Huntington Beach fire department reported five persons were transported to a medical facility comprising two individuals who were in the aircraft and were “extracted safely from the crash site” following the accident on that day.
Three individuals on the road were injured. Specifics on their injuries were not immediately available.
The reason for the accident was not immediately released.
